As may people try to fit in this judgmental world they try what everyone at one point has done. First, they of course try imitation. By this, I mean, trying to be like someone else. Of course this often leads to questions like, “Why do people always compare me to others?” and “Why can’t they just let me be myself?”. How can you ask such questions when you know you aren’t being yourself in the first place?? People who ask questions like this should be slapped with a baseball bat(I don’t mean this literally.)but you all get my point. Secondly, people try to hide. They think that by being invisible they can get out of being judged. This is also a big No-No. People will still judge you but the only difference is that they’ll forget your name and call you something like, “The guy in the back of the room” “The quiet one.” “The weird one.” etc…
Everyone wants to be accepted for who they are and yet they don’t try being themselves. Criticism is something that everyone should take in and be unaffected by it. Yes, I know that sometimes it hurts our feelings and all that but SUCK IT UP! Best example, CELEBRITIES. They wear and act however the fuck they want and for some reason we still look up to them. Why? Because they do what they want without caring about what others think. This doesn’t apply to all celebrities but a lot still fall in this idol category.
So what have we learned today?
Just be yourself and you are already a step closer to accomplishing who you want to become!
